What is Carey Youth?
Carey Youth is the youth ministry of Carey Baptist Church. Our hope is to get alongside young people and help them to discover and embrace their own Christian faith. We do this in a fun and nurturing environment through community and as we learn from Jesus. We have both Friday Night and Sunday Morning programs. While there is crossover between the two, each has its own unique flavour and audience.

Registration and Sign in
All attendees at both Friday Night Youth and Sunday Morning Youth are required to sign in before entering the programs. If you are new, our youth leaders will help you register your details, or you can register before hand here. We gather information including names and parent/guardian emergency contact information so that we can account for and care for every person under our care.

Supervision and Safety
Our leadership team is made up of pastors, youth workers, and volunteers who ensure youth are supervised at all times. All our leaders are required to have a Working With Children’s Check (WWCC) and undergo SafeChurch training to ensure everyone has both a safe and fun time at Carey Youth. All our activities also go through a risk assessment process.
